The last mile and a half was tough and my legs were starting to feel tired all over. That makes sense since I had been running for over 3 hours. The scary thing is that I will still have another hour of running to go on race day. But, I can't think about that right now.
I've been practicing my fueling for the marathon on all of my long training runs: ClifShot Bloks & water every 4 miles and Cytomax after the first hour. It seems to be working. But, it's a pain to carry all of this in my fuel belt. I didn't realize it until I was in the shower, but my belt left a little mark on my back... chafe much?
